Well, lately I haven't many job scams to my email but I found one tonight that arrived in my email box.

It came from a name of "Roach" with the email address kierasitton@yahoo.com.

Logistics Clerk is urgently needed!

Position: Logistics Clerk
Clerk will be engaged primarily for the receiving|sending goods and records keeping.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive items according to given guidelines and procedures;
- Maintain proper records of items shipped and received;
- Work with correspondence as directed by Dept. Manager;
- Should stick to all company safety policies and procedures;
- All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Part Time FSO Miss Harris Information Technology Job Scam

Hi everyone...thanks for stopping by. I sincerely appreciate any feedback or comments you may have regarding job scams. I do my best to personally respond to messages that come in and also use job scams others receive by email.

Today's entry comes from a reader I'll call "Mary". I am not using her real name nor her email address to protect her privacy. However the rest of the information is accurate and verbatim as the scam itself. Apparently the job scammers out there are getting a little smarter by using abbreviations for job titles like as shown below for a FSO. And also, I guess they use these email replies as "harris.n.office@gmail.com" which is also quite a departure from the usual randomness of the email names.

But here without further wait...below is an email from "Mary" about a job for something. I'm still not sure what a FSO is...but it is a job scam.

I received the below email in my in box as well with another fake job. This one hardly sounds convincing because it doesn't give any information at all on the position. But just in case others may receive it, here's a copy of exactly what I received:

He sent me fake job email he recieved and with his permission I wanted to share it below with you. Below is the verbatim email of course hiding "Steve's" actual email address. I also did modify the Career Builder id number shown on the email and the reference number toward the end of the fake email below to protect "Steve's" identity if those scammers are getting smarter. But I seriously doubt they are getting any more intelligent. They are still full of mispellings and use a hotmail email account and seem to pay far too much money than is realistic for the job itself.

One of my readers, I'll call her Susan" emailed me recently to ask a question regarding a strange email she received. I have changed the account number below to protect her identity. I've never seen an email scam like this so I'm throwing this out to the group to see what anyone thinks. Your comments are welcomed and appreciated and to "Susan" thanks for emailing me. I apologize it took this long to post your email. Here's a new job scam I just discovered by email recently. The interesting thing I've started doing is emailing the company back but this one came in without a reply to email address. Almost like you were blind carbon copied in the email. I don't quite get it. But it's so non descript it's almost a give a way of the scam or at least the fake job. Career Builder Fake Jobs/No Concern By Careerbuilder

Hello everyone..sorry to be missing in action again lately. So...please tell us...any job scams out of the ordinary lately? I did receive a few out of the blue emails saying my long lost relative who died in a plane crash in Africa left $20 million dollars to her husband but I'm somehow the next of kin and I just have to send $500.00 to release the entire $20 million directly to my bank account. Also, worthy of note, I've emailed Careerbuilder related to job scams and asked some pointed questions and asked for answers on why the job scams continue to show up on their website. I also provided a list of questions I'd like to have answered by the company if they are really sincerely interested in my well being as a job seeker. So far, two weeks later I haven't received an answer despite this and showing a link to my email job scams blog. Could it be that Careerbuilder just doesn't care? I'm beginning to think so. Anyone have any comments? I'll be back with more job scams shortly.
