On Fire Employment Is A Fake Part Of Career Net And Other Scams

I guess I should clarify my previous entry.

Career network if you google search the company has a website
here with all sorts of fancy and seemingly legitimate information.

If you click on About Us you will see the link as I provided below about this company ownership by "Three Stars Media" and then the rest of the link and blog right below will make sense.

I apologize I left that off originally. My goal is to give accurate and relevant information when I put these entries on the blog.

I emailed the Orlando Better Business Bureau to see if they could offer me any other information on Three Stars. The site is here if you are interested. Search for a business or company and type in Three Stars Media and you get this result from the Orlando Better Business Bureau.

Does it surprise anyone the local Orlando Better Business Bureau gives this alleged company a grade of "F"?

No it doesn't surprise me. If anyone else wants to write the Orlando Better Business Bureau as well please feel free. I had to email them to ask if this company has any level of legitimacy.

I think I already know the answer but in search of fairness I wanted to see what they say. I also emailed the Three Stars Media company as well to ask more information on their company.

If I receive any replies from either or both, I will be sure to share.

Thanks for stopping by again!!

I went to the UFE website and see NO Three Stars anything. Don;t know where you are looking to verify if fake or not. If fake they are good. give more proof either way

When I went to the BBB site for rating of Three Stars Media, the rating was C-. Still not particularly good, but not an F. Also, the rating seems to be due to length of time Three Stars has been in business, plus not enough information on the company at this time to give a higher rating.

Still... all I ever receive are job posting announcements with a personalized request to apply, but never get a response from them when I do reply. And, I've never received a response from them when I've emailed them directly.

Don't know if OnFire Employment is a scam or not, but they've certainly done nothing to win my trust. Still researching...

I've been getting the emails from On Fire like others have - then yesterday I recv'd a call from Career Network's "verification center" about a resume I submitted in the last week. I returned the call as I wasn't sure if it was something legit - and they proceeded to ask me if I had 40 minutes to go thru the verifcation process. I also needed to be in front of my computer. The amount of time I spent filling out the application had me a little tiffed already - for a supposed job that pays $12 an hour, I was supposed to sit on the phone with them for another 40 minutes to verify the same info I submitted online? Whether the company is a scam of not I wouldn't do it - if a medical office near me wants to hire someone to file for $12 and hour, they should be able to find someone without the use of these type of agencies! Now if I could only get the "universities" to stop calling and emailing me!

i haven't gotten the emails to stop yet but I did stop the phone calls. Answered it, said I changed my mind and TAKE MY NAME AND NUMBER OFF YOUR LIST. Haven't heard from them for two days now.

Hi, anyone (duped too!) willing to let me interview them about their experience? Duped, I know you wrote detailed description, but I'd much rather talk to you in person or on the phone. You commented on my blog - I'm a journalist, obviously. I applied for a copywriter position, of course. I'd like to interview people who did all three interviews and PARTICULARLY past employees. Please. I'm also going to interview the police department - hopefully someone who has previously arrested Difrawi.

I'd really appreaciate it, thank you.
My email (well, one of my emails, this is the one that I allow all the junk from scanbots to go to): katnc24@hotmail.com Once you reply, I'll email you from my gmail account.

Thanks guys.

Hello, I have just been called for an interview with the internet company. Someone please help me understand how they are a scam? There are a lot of allegations, but no details on how they are actually "scamming" anyone. Are you required to pay anything? Has anyone made it past the third interview?

Ivette,

It's a scam because this company posts jobs that do not exist on Craigslist and other internet sources inviting people to apply for these jobs. This company has collected information and used this to market to college and universities. You will find these jobs do not exist with this company. That's a scam in my book. Good luck with your interview, feel free to stop by again and let all of us know how it goes for you.
