I too received such an email today, supposedly in response to a resume I have posted on my state's government sponsored job link website. I'm VERY concerned because this is a official state government sponsored site, and I would hate to think scammers have hacked into it.

I received two such 'invitations' yesterday. Not only this same one, but also from from a gentleman calling himself by the name of 'Chris Mass', also from the UK, looking for a personal assistant while in the States, and indicating he will be working with a US Government Agency as a contractor for a while. In both emails, the grammar was horrible. That was my first clue. I work with people in the UK on a daily basis in my current job, and they would never be lazy with their writing. Secondly, who in their right mind would fall for 'Chris Mass'?? lol

I too received the scam email in response to my resume posted to a State job board. My advice is: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Scam operation - the 27 Old Gloucester Road address is used for many scams including clamping services (Parking Control Services), a high speed broadband service, an online drugs shop etc. BEWARE!
