International Product Dispatcher Job Scam Breanna Cameron

I've very disappointed in Yahoo/HotJobs/Monster for allowing scammers to have my good email address to send me fake jobs that do not exist at all. I'm tempted to write the company and complain to them but I seriously doubt it would do much if any good at all. Below is an email I received today for a courier position that is fake...just like all the rest I continue to receive on a daily baseis:

I got one of these today from International Dispatch Service, Inc. Basically the same letter - with a few more grammatically incorrect phrases. Thanks for being here and letting me know that if it looks like a duck, walks like and duck and quacks like a duck - IT'S A DUCK!

I got the same letter and like the comment before stated it is very disappointing that these accredited job websites would allow these scammers to have our email address is pathetic!!!

I just got the same email. When are they going to stop these from happening. I agree scammers shouldn't have our email address.

This is crazy, I was really interested in contacting them but after seeing all the previous emails of the same post that I received, I have to think twice about this company. Anonymous on February 11, I'm real interested to know how did it turn out after you sent a package for them. Thanks everyone!

By mistake, I thought I had approved a message written below from someone anonymously. However, when I pressed the key, I think the message was deleted in error so I am including the comment below from that individual copied and pasted on the blog. If anyone has gone further in this scam and has additional real life experience, I'd welcome any comments on it. I appreciate each and everyone that visits, reads, and posts commentary regarding email scams. But anyway, here is that verbatim comment I deleted in error:

"This is crazy, I was really interested in contacting them but after seeing all the previous emails of the same post that I received, I have to think twice about this company. Anonymous on February 11, I'm real interested to know how did it turn out after you sent a package for them. Thanks everyone!"

So what exactly are they hoping to gain by this? $$, ID, the ability to laugh at gullable people, backdoors into internet infrestructure, etc?

To answer your question about that one package I sent. Nothing has happened and today they sent a few more. I didn't invest anything and all I need to do is print the labels ,put them to the proper packages and drop them off at the post office. I checked the contents and they contain electronics just as they said . I would be interested in knowing more if anyone had a negative experience so I don't get further involved. Whoever started this scam warning, please share!

Hi again,I had posted on February 11 and again a little earlier today.I want to update you on my latest discovery, this company IPD is accused of some how ordering products with stolen credit card numbers and getting third party distributors like us to help carry out the scam. Whether or not we would get paid,I don't know but I do know I don't want to be involved. Now I have some packages to return to the suppliers. Thanks to whoever started this site and helped warn others !

I recieved the same letter. The clue that gave it away to me that is was a scam was that the e-mail did not have may e-mail on it and yet it got into my e-mail box.

I've been researching this company and can't find anything indicating it's a scam. Has anyone actually been scammed? One person here said they sent a package already. Did he/she get paid? Has anyone lost money/identity in this scam? I'm wondering if it is actually a scam. I see spelling and grammatical errors in legitimate foreign online documents all the time--that, in and of itself, does not prove a scam. No, I don't work for the company;) I just like to operate with facts. Please help if anyone knows anything, especially someone who is actually working for them.

I have also rece'd this email and am also curious as to it's reliability. To the person who has rec'd and sent off the packages, have you received the paperwork for 1099 forms and or any money's from the company?????????

I was recruited on-line in January 2011. I asked some questions about the company and I checked them on Google search, however I did it as IDS, in lieu of International Dispatch Services. I was contacted by a coordinator, provided a contract and started receiving packages and I got my U S Mail prepaid shipping forms via E-mail in PDF format. I did this for about a month and then provided the coordinator with instructions about where to send my paycheck. Well since then I have not heard hide nor hair from anyone. Didn't cost me any money, except for the car gas to drop the packages off at the Post Office. I gave them a bank account and bank routing info for one of my account that only had $10.00 in it, so they couldn't withdraw large amount of money.
The items I received were Ipods and other small computer parts from WalMart, Best Buy...etc.. I think U S laws are such that buy shipping them to your address and then we reship them overseas as a gift, the Export/import duties are much less and selling these components in Eastern Europe get a very inflated price

I received this same e-mail today only the name of the company is different. In my e-mail, they called themselves Products Dispatching Electronic Service, inc. I am also disappointed that yahoo is allowing these scams through its system.

It seems as though this scam is still being tried. I received a very similar letter today from this fake company IDS inc. Isn't there any way for the job board to remove them from the sending list?

It appears the scam continues. I too received an email today from...Flynn Suarez: BobbeArline73226@yahoo.com
reply-to ccirfufh7ydio@gmail.com

The name of the company in this one was MPDS inc company supposedly out of Poland.

Received the same message from MPDS inc. from Poland. Be aware.

Well, I got today a letter... now how do you know you are being conned...

A company that respects herself will not send emails 1.) from yahoo.com and 2.) without a logo or any other slogan from the company it self.

I wouldn't touch this job offer not even if I were paid upfront. With all due respect, you may be part now of transferring stolen goods, or paid by stolen credit cards.

I will inform the real company and send them the letter as well. They should know that they are being abused !!

Got this email today from Devon Wilcox at a nicolaollis---yahoo email address. Wonder why it didn't get sent to spam? Thought it might be valid until I started looking into it more. I am on CareerBuilder and get this stuff occasionally.

I got an e-mail for a position at MPDSinc from Sandra Rios originally and then Alex Konich from the company who called himself the manager e-mailed me back and called me a couple of times. I sent some packages of PS3, I-Pods, and a radar detector to Russia for him. I asked him when I would be paid and he said Sept 9th. I haven't received any e-mails or packages from him this last week.

Hi.. to the person that said they would be paid on Sept 9, 2011.. Did you get paid, or have you heard nothing since?

Apparently this email scam is still alive and well. I received a similar email today!
